Event Announcement

Big Project Middle East has confirmed that Riyadh will host the inaugural World Cup Build KSA Summit on 20 October. This gathering will replace the Construction Intel Summit KSA in the 2025 events calendar and is designed as a dedicated platform to discuss preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2034.

Areas of Focus

The summit will place stadium development at the heart of its programme but will also explore the wider network of infrastructure needed for a global sporting event. Topics will range from hotel and hospitality capacity to transportation links, construction logistics and the role of sustainable urban planning in large-scale developments.

Audience and Participation

The event is expected to attract senior representatives from both public authorities and the private sector. Delegates will have the opportunity to join keynote presentations, engage in panel discussions and hear technical insights from industry experts. Registration is already open to those wishing to take part.

Organisers’ Perspective

Jason Saundalkar, Head of Content at Big Project Middle East, said the summit reflects Saudi Arabia’s strategic vision for hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2034. He noted that the Kingdom aims to deliver not only the required facilities but also a complete experience that meets global standards. Sustainability, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, will be an underlying theme throughout the event’s sessions.

Venue and Partnerships

The specific venue will be announced soon. The confirmed list of sponsors includes RIB as Gold Sponsor, Climatize and +impact as Associate Partners, KEO International Consultants as Strategic Partner, and Compass Project Consulting, HKA, JLL and RICS as Supporting Partners. Organisers anticipate that this summit will become a cornerstone in the lead-up to the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
